SEOUL (Reuters) -Samsung Electronics reported a 34% drop in fourth-quarter revenue on Wednesday, as weak client demand for TVs and residential home equipment outweighed a restoration within the world reminiscence chip market.
The world’s largest maker of reminiscence chips mentioned working revenue fell to 2.8 trillion gained ($2.11 billion) in October-December, versus 4.3 trillion gained a yr earlier.
That was consistent with Samsung (KS:)’s personal estimate of two.8 trillion gained flagged earlier this month.
Income fell 4% to 67.8 trillion gained.
