BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany’s decrease home of parliament on Friday accepted the 2024 funds, sticking to its self-imposed debt brake.
The funds concludes months of tense negotiation over Germany’s 2024 spending. Europe’s high economic system can challenge 39 billion euros ($42.43 billion) in new debt, which might be inside the authorities’s restrict.
The debt brake, enshrined within the German structure, restricts the general public deficit to 0.35% of gross home product.
