OTTAWA (Reuters) – The Canadian authorities will present a C$99 million ($73.1 million) top-up to a housing profit plan for low earners who need assistance paying lease, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland mentioned on Tuesday.
Freeland, talking to reporters in Ottawa, additionally introduced C$100 million in emergency winter funding to supply extra shelter areas for folks experiencing homelessness.
